Unexplained fertility challenges affect one out of five couples going who have been through a fertility workup. This can often feel like there is no reason for the difficulty conceiving, which can be one of more most incredibly frustrating and overwhelming. In many cases a couple can feel like something dreadful may be hiding just waiting to be uncovered, which is often not the case.
Unexplained infertility can often relate to eqq quality, sperm quality, fallopian tube function or other causes. Cases like this can be difficult to diagnose through conventional Western medicine. Not having any answers to explain what is going on, or having a focus to guide treatment is often one the most overwhelming aspects for patients.
Chinese medicine takes a holistic view of the body to assess what may be leading to infertility challenges and treat these causes. Many patients are often told by friends and family just to 'stop stressing,' and it will happen. While some aspects of this may be true at times. This is easier said than done. I find if you are told to stop stressing, this likely leads to more stress.
While unexplained fertility can be one of the most challenging groups to fall into because it can be difficult to know what to do or how to go forward. There is so much acupuncture, and Chinese medicine can do assess imbalances, restore balance and help you conceive and carry to full term.
